Programme Overview

Our MSc in Environment and Business will give you an in-depth understanding of environmental management and policy. Emphasis is on the practical application of environmental management so you can help businesses develop sustainable best practices. We’ll prepare you for a successful career in the emerging environmental sector.

Your technical and management skills will help you identify and manage opportunities that maximise sustainable development and minimise environmental impact. The focus is on how to help businesses prosper both financially and sustainably.

You’ll deepen your research skills and techniques by completing a dissertation on a topic you want to explore further, supported by our academic staff.

Designed and delivered by a multi-disciplinary team of leading academics, the course is supported by input from real-world industrial practitioners. We have many years’ experience in both environmental and business postgraduate education, and a high research rating in Environmental Science in Scotland.

This MSc extends your understanding of business skills that help protect the environment as part of your career. You’ll graduate able to embrace and manage sustainable challenges within your chosen field.

The programme can be studied full time for one year or over two years part-time.
