Overview

This course provides you with opportunities to discover how organisations are managed whilst developing your business mindset.

You'll explore the internal structures and strategies which businesses adopt in response to key external drivers for change that impact upon them. With flexible study options and practical content, the aim of the BA (Hons) Business Management programme is to offer several major/minor combinations that take advantage of the flexibility of the modular structure and promote student choice.

The course provides modules that give you real-world experience and the option to undertake a work placement. The practical knowledge and wide range of skills you will acquire through studying the programme will enable you to pursue a broad range of career opportunities upon graduation.

• SQA Higher: BBBB
• A Level: BCC
• Irish Leaving Certificate: H2, H2, H3, H3 at Higher Level
• BTEC (QCF) Extended Diploma Level 3: Minimum grades DMM (Distinction, Merit, Merit)
• BTEC (QCF) National Diploma Level 3: Minimum grades DD
• BTEC (QCF) National Diploma Level 3 plus A Level: Minimum grades DM (Distinction, Merit), A Level grade C
• T Level: Merit
• International Baccalaureate Diploma: Award of Diploma with 28 points overall with three HL subjects at grades 6, 5, 4
• Scottish HNC: Other HNC subjects may be considered for year 1 entry where a C in the graded unit is achieved

Minimum Year 2

• HNC: Pass HNC in Administration and IT, Business, Business & Finance, Human Resource Management, Management (not Retail), Marketing or Marketing Communication with grade C at SCQF level 7 in the graded unit
