Course Overview

The Foundation Year Programme offers a route to undergraduate study, giving students the skills, confidence, and resilience required to succeed in Higher Education. After successful completion of this year, students will be eligible to progress onto the first year of FdSc Agriculture.

Entry Requirements

• Students require six GCSEs at grade C / 4 or above (including Maths, English Language, and a science subject), or five GCSEs at grade C / 4 or above (including Maths, English Language, and a science subject) if they also have level 3 qualification(s).
• Students must be at least 17½ years of age at the time of registration.
• For those wishing to progress to FdSc Agriculture, there are no additional entry requirements.
• For those wishing to transfer to BSc (Hons) routes within the Agriculture suite of courses, they will need to achieve an average of 60% across the Foundation Year Programme.
