Program Overview
MProf / MSc Rural Estate and Land Management
Course Description
The MProf/MSc Rural Estate and Land Management course is designed for individuals who enjoy the challenges of managing rural land and property, understanding the issues facing rural towns and countryside, and helping people make the most of their land and property. The course is not currently suitable for international students due to its focus on legal frameworks specific to the UK.
How Will It Benefit Me?
The MProf/MSc will enable students to analyze stakeholder interests, develop techniques for rural land management and appraisal, and appraise the value and worth of rural land. Students will also learn to evaluate and exploit the latest developments in technology, develop performance indicators in rural estate management and strategy, and formulate land management strategies that meet objectives for sustainable management.
Funding
The full-time and two-year part-time courses are eligible for a postgraduate loan. Apprenticeship funding may be available for this course for those employed in England.
