Learning outcomes
- Identify and understand the basic skills required to successfully identify and manage a project
- Develop foundation knowledge required for scoping, progressing and delivering a successful project
- Opportunity to critically evaluate project outcomes and understand the trade-offs, conflicts and tensions you will encounter.
Topics covered are aligned to Apprenticeship Standard ST0310: Associate Project Manager (Level 4) and include:
- Defining a project, objectives, and requirements
- Applying project management tools and techniques
- Managing stakeholders and building relationships
- Leading through ambiguity by being flexible, collaborative and professional
Course structure
In person sessions:
- Kickstarting learning
- Consolidating knowledge, developing skills (includes live simulation event)
- Assessing what we know and applying to our business, followed by an awards event
Online sessions:
- Accessed with trainer in real time – development of learning ePortfolio supported by post training exercises and reading (text book supplied)
