Freehand Machine Embroidery
Overview
This short course teaches the art of Freehand Machine Embroidery, allowing participants to create a design on paper and translate it onto fabric using a domestic sewing machine.
Location
The course takes place at Locksbrook Campus, Bath, BA1 3EL.
Dates and Times
The next course is scheduled for Tuesday, 17 June, from 10am to 3pm. Bookings close on 9 June.
Cost
The course costs £45 per person.
What to Bring
Participants are welcome to bring a design or photograph to work with. Alternatively, they can create a design on the day. Fabric and materials will be provided, but participants may also bring a t-shirt or bag to embroider their design onto.
Meet the Team
Katie Furzer, a Textiles Designer and Embroidery Technician at Bath Spa University, leads the course. She has industry experience and inspires students with her unique approach to embroidery, combining it with other processes like print and laser cutting.
