Overview
The BA (Hons) Archaeology program at the University of Winchester is a comprehensive undergraduate degree that explores the physical evidence of past societies to understand the evolution and cultural history of humanity. Entry Requirements
- UK: 104-120 points (A-Levels, BTEC, or equivalent)
- International: 104-120 points (International Baccalaureate, or equivalent)
- GCSE English Language at grade 4 or C, or higher
- IELTS Academic at 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in all four components (for year 1 entry)

Additional Costs
- Excavation: four weeks' compulsory fieldwork in the summer after Year 1 (no direct costs for student participants)
- Further Fieldwork: optional four weeks' archaeological fieldwork in the summer after Year 2 (project-specific costs)
- Field trip module: three-day residential field trip in Year 2 (indicative cost: £150)
