Year 1

  • Business Environment: Covers the basic principles of micro- and macro- economics.
  • Principles of Marketing: Introduces marketing and demonstrates its centrality to business decision making.
  • Introduction to Digital Marketing: Recognizes the impact of the internet on marketing and develops a comprehensive understanding of crucial concepts, strategies, and tools necessary for achieving success in digital marketing.

Year 2

  • Work Placement: Provides students with an opportunity to hone employability skills, relate theory to practice, and gain experience in a working environment.
  • Business Digital Strategy: Examines the implications of the internet and the rise of ubiquitous mobile devices that are changing business and society.
  • Retail Marketing Planning: Recognizes that effective marketing planning is essential for all organizations and provides students with the opportunity to place tactical marketing activities in the context of the marketing planning process.
  • Consumer Behaviour: Considers the factors that influence what, where, and when consumers buy and what they buy.

Year 3

  • Global Marketing Management: Considers the way in which globalization has transformed the world of business and develops students' understanding of markets while also considering how business leaders must evaluate and analyze constantly shifting environments.
  • Marketing Simulation: Provides an understanding of marketing management and planning and engages students in the marketing decision-making process via the use of a marketing simulation package.
  • Live Project: Enables students to take part in a live business project in a real-world setting with a company from the university's network.
  • Graduate Enterprise: Enables students to experience running their own company with a number of their colleagues.
