Spanish and English BA Honours

Overview

The Spanish and English BA Honours course at the University of Westminster offers students the opportunity to combine the study of Spanish with English. The course enables students to achieve proficiency in Spanish, develop linguistic and cultural knowledge of both languages, and build knowledge and understanding of linguistic, literary, and cultural studies.


Course Structure

The course is structured over five years, with the option to undertake a professional placement year in industry or a period of study abroad at one of Westminster's partner institutions.

  • International Baccalaureate: 104 UCAS Tariff points from all components of the Diploma Programme

  • BTEC Diploma: D*D
  • Access: 104 UCAS Tariff points from the Access course
  • GCSE English Language: grade 4/C – IB grade 4 Higher level
  • GCSE Maths: grade 4/C – IB grade 4
  • IELTS: 6.0 overall, with 5.5 in each component (if first language is not English)
