Sport and Exercise Nutrition MSc

Overview

The Sport and Exercise Nutrition MSc offers students the chance to explore the key principles and cutting-edge research across sport and exercise nutrition, exercise physiology, psychology, and practitioner skills. The course aims to produce competent and capable sport and exercise professionals who understand the field as it is now and have the skills to continue to learn and develop as this dynamic field continues to innovate and evolve.

Professional Recognition

This course is accredited by the UK Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register (SENr) and the Association for Nutrition (AfN). Students are encouraged to take the Certification of the ISSN (CISSN) exam towards the end of their period of study.


Entry Requirements

  • A minimum of a lower second-class honours degree (2:2) in a life sciences subject with a strong element of nutrition and/or physiology.
  • If the first language is not English, students should have an IELTS 6.5 with at least 6.5 in writing and no element below 6.0.
  • Applicants are required to submit one academic reference.
