International Marketing BA Honours

Overview

The International Marketing BA Honours course is designed to meet the needs of industry by combining academic knowledge with work-based learning. You'll gain expertise in international marketing management and strategy, culture, consumer behaviour, and language.


Course Structure

The course is divided into three years, with the option to take a placement year or study abroad.


Year 1

  • You are introduced to key marketing theories, concepts, and emerging marketing tools and techniques.
  • We focus on the customer, examining buyer behaviour and the factors that affect perceptions and purchase decisions.
  • In this international degree, you will also be introduced to the complex and diverse political, economic, social, and technological environments and how these shape and influence organisations operating internationally.

Year 2

  • You'll learn how companies internationalise and how they develop various strategies to cater for various markets with different macro and micro environmental influences.
  • You will also develop your knowledge and understanding of the increasing role and use of data analytics in international marketing.
  • Consumer insights will take you on a journey into market research while considering potential difficulties in accessing market samples, possible language barriers, cultural issues, or the restrictions of discussing taboo topics.

Year 3

  • You continue to expand your knowledge of international marketing planning strategy and consider the diverse communications channels open to marketers.
  • You have the opportunity to undertake a dissertation where you will research a topic of your choice.

  • International Foundation courses – We work in partnership with Kaplan International College London who provide the International Foundation Certificate.

Fees and Funding

UK

  • UK tuition fee: £9,535 (Price per academic year)

  • Scholarships – The University is dedicated to supporting ambitious and outstanding students and we offer a variety of scholarships to eligible undergraduate students.

International

  • International tuition fee: £17,600 (Price per academic year)
  • EU Qualifications Welcome Award Scheme – If you are an international student accepted on an undergraduate programme starting in September 2024 or September 2025 at level 3 (Foundation) or level 4 (first year) on the basis of an eligible EU qualification only, you will be awarded a tuition fee reduction.
