Overview
The Legal Practice Postgraduate Diploma is a course designed for individuals who wish to practise as solicitors in England and Wales. The course is part of the Law program at the University of Westminster and is accredited by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).

Mentoring Scheme

Students will have the opportunity to volunteer in our Student Law Clinic, where they can interview and advise clients in various areas of law.

Entry Requirements
- A minimum of a lower second class honours degree (2:2)
- Qualifying Law degree or non-law degree followed by Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) or Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) Level 6 qualification
- Students must have covered the following seven law topics: Constitutional and Administrative Law, The Law Contract, Equity and Trusts, EU Law, Land Law (Property Law) or Law or Torts
- If your first language is not English, you should have an IELTS 6.5 with at least 6.0 in all components
Recognition of Prior Learning and Experience
If you have previously studied at university level, or have equivalent work experience, academic credit may be awarded towards your course at Westminster.
