Law LLB Honours
Overview
The Law LLB Honours course at the University of Westminster is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the law and its applications. The course is intellectually aligned with both SQE1 and SQE2 and meets the requirements of the Bar Standards Board and the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
Course Structure
The course is divided into four years, with the option to spend an additional year studying abroad at one of the university's partner institutions. The course structure includes:
- Year 1: Students study a range of core modules, including Cinematic Justice, Criminal Justice: Crime and Punishment, and Introduction to Legal Practice.
- Year 2: Students continue to study core modules, including Adjudication and Alternative Dispute Resolution, Business Law, and European Law: Contemporary Legal Issues.
- Year 3: Students have the opportunity to specialize in a range of areas, including Advanced Criminal Law, Clinical Legal Practice, and International Law and Global Challenges.
- Year 4: Students complete a final-year project and have the opportunity to study a range of optional modules.
Entry Requirements
- UK students: A Levels - BBC (112 UCAS Tariff points), T levels - 112 UCAS Tariff points, International Baccalaureate - 112 UCAS Tariff points from all components of the Diploma Programme.
- International students: International Baccalaureate - 112 UCAS Tariff points from all components of the Diploma Programme, Country-specific entry requirements.
- English language requirements: IELTS - 6.0 overall, with 6.0 in writing and 5.5 in the other components.

- UK students: £1,580 (Price per 20-credit module)
- International students: £2,830 (Price per 20-credit module)
