Program Overview
Exploring Anatomical and Physiological Differences in Children
Overview
This webinar supports SCPHN teams, and others working with children and young people, by providing an overview of the anatomical and physiological differences in children.
Full Description
Infants and children have differing anatomical structures and physiologies compared to adults. Both need to be considered when caring for children. These differences also need to be recognised when assessing development and growth, and we need to correlate them to the age of the child.
It’s important to recognise that not all children will reach the same stages of development at the same time, and some will “skip” developmental milestones completely or do things earlier than expected.
Who Should Attend?
This course is for anyone working with children and/or young people.
Dates
- 18 February 2025, 1-4pm
- 10 June, 1-4pm
