Overview
The Sports Journalism program at the University of Salford is designed to help students develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the sports media industry. Course Details
The program is a three-year full-time or six-year part-time undergraduate degree. Students can enroll in September 2025 or September 2026.

Requirements
To apply for the Sports Journalism program, students need to meet the following requirements:
- GCSE English Language at grade C/level 4 or above (or equivalent)
- GCSE Maths at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential
- 112 UCAS tariff points
- A level, BTEC National Diploma, Access to HE, or other qualifications equivalent to 112 UCAS tariff points
International students need to meet the English language requirements, which are IELTS 7.5 in all elements of reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
Tuition Fees
The tuition fees for the Sports Journalism program are:
