Overview
Therapeutic Radiography is a challenging but immensely rewarding career, which offers a combination of science, technology and patient care. The MSc Therapeutic Radiography (pre-registration) is a two-year, full time, qualifying course for graduates with a suitable and relevant first degree, providing an accelerated route into the profession.
What's covered in this course?
The MSc Therapeutic Radiography (pre-registration) course is the only MSc pre-registration course in Birmingham that covers oncology, radiotherapy technology and psychosocial issues surrounding cancer care. Our radiotherapy course will teach you to work with patients of all ages, to help relieve and/or cure the symptoms of their cancer.

Entry Requirements
- Essential requirements:
- Applicants are normally expected to have a 2:1 honours degree in a relevant subject such as anatomy, human biology, biomedical science and psychology.
- GCSE English Language or English Literature and Maths at grade C/4 or above.
- Additional information:
- Height statement: Most patients are treated at a height of 120-130cm above the ground. You should be able to comfortably and safely manipulate a patient lying at this height.
- You may be asked to provide evidence of an experiential visit to a radiotherapy clinical department as a condition of your offer.

- Annual and modular tuition fees shown are applicable to the first year of study.
