Course Overview

This core module will enable you to engage with a programme of learning designed to meet your individual specialist advanced clinical practice needs. You’ll work in collaboration with your clinical and academic supervisors to critically reflect on your existing knowledge, skills and expertise to identify a series of objectives, organised into an individual learning plan that addresses your learning objectives and meets the module learning outcomes. Over the course of the module you’ll engage with your clinical mentor as you work to fulfil your learning contract.

Entry Requirements

  • Registered UK healthcare professional
    • To study this course you must be a registered UK healthcare professional from any discipline with a track record of delivering high-quality healthcare and having a positive impact on clinical practice.
  • Ideally, you will be working in a Band 7 level clinical post. However, we’ll also consider clinicians working in Band 6 posts with appropriate experience and clinical impact. You should demonstrate that you have a robust, significant and appropriately varied clinical practice experience.
  • Applicants should be graduates or able to evidence a high level of CPD.
