Course Description

Developed to closely reflect the changing requirements of the health and social care sector, the BSc (Hons) Integrative Health and Social Care course is designed to help skilled practitioners lead developments and implement positive changes in their own area of practice.


This specialist course is ideally suited to a wide range of health and social care professionals from family support workers, health promotion workers, and probation officers to care home managers, volunteer co-ordinators, and charity workers. It is also suitable for health scientists, practice managers, social workers, youth workers, and other similar roles within the health and social care sector.

This would suit workers who are looking to develop their career in health and social care, for example, non-registered health practitioners and those with a foundation degree, BTEC, or Level 5 certificate.


Entry Requirements

  • 240 credits at Level 5 in a related subject area, including but not limited to health and social care, social work, health promotion, or youth work
  • Have access to an environment where you will be able to apply your skills to achieve the individual module learning outcomes. This does not specifically need to be employment and could include voluntary work.

English Language Qualifications

Applicants whose first language is not English or who have not studied in an English-speaking institution will need:


  • IELTS (International English Language Testing System) 6.0
  • Qualification evidence awarded in your country
  • Transcripts of all relevant education/training
