Event Management with Foundation Year BA (Hons)
Course Description
This 4-year undergraduate degree in Event Management with a Foundation Year is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed in the events industry. The course covers the full range of modern-day event management and business management skills, including problem-solving, adaptability, creativity, and sustainability.
Foundation Year
The Foundation Year is designed to help students achieve more by strengthening their skills, knowledge, and confidence before advancing to the honours degree. It provides extensive support from expert staff and is continuous, meaning students won't need to apply again once they have successfully completed the first year.

Studying Abroad
In stage two, students have the opportunity to study abroad in countries such as the Netherlands, Germany, Thailand, Bali, and South Africa.
Work Placements and Internships
Students are encouraged to take work placements and internships, at home or abroad. In stage two, students must complete at least 30 hours of work experience, and between stages two and three, they can take an optional placement year or a summer internship.
Careers
Graduates will be well-suited to a range of roles in the event, tourism, or hospitality sectors, as well as allied industries such as marketing, PR, or HR. They will have the enterprising attitude and attributes needed to launch their own business or work for a start-up.

- A Level: DDD
- T Level: Pass
- BTEC: MMP
- GCSE: Maths and English are preferred, but students can undertake Maths and English at Level 2 as part of their course of study
- Access to HE: Pass Access to HE Diploma with 60 credits: 45 at Level 3 with a minimum of Distinction: 0, Merit: 24, Pass: 21
- English language requirements: IELTS: 6.0 (with at least 5.5 in each skills area)
2025 Entry
