Program Overview
Pain Management Level 7 (7KNIA315)
Course Overview
This course promotes the development of practitioners that can expertly assess, plan, implement and critically evaluate pain management strategies. The individual and complex nature of pain are explored, which justifies the need for different pharmacological and non-drug methods (a multimodal approach) within a multi-disciplinary team.
Course Features
Using blended learning and creative techniques in the classroom and online helps students explore topics, apply theory to their practice, and promote problem-solving, decision-making, analysis, and reflection. The Pain Management course advances theoretical knowledge and clinical skills to confidently care for people experiencing acute, persistent, or cancer pain.
