Course Overview
Work-based learning provides the opportunity for students to acquire academic credit for learning gained from educational activities undertaken in the workplace. This module supports the clinical education provided by London NHS Trusts who are participating in the Capital Nurse Qualification in Specialism (QIS) Children and Young People Emergency Nursing programme.
Course Features
This programme involves the provision of a 'one course for London' approach to Emergency Nurse education that is defined by educational standards and common learning outcomes. The aim of this module is to allow students to demonstrate learning from work-based learning activity in emergency nursing and their development as independent learners.
This course is available at both Level 6 and Level 7. Please ensure you apply for the appropriate Level (you need to provide evidence of a BSc Hons degree to study at Level 7).
Entry Requirements
This course is for participants in Capital Nurse Qualification in Specialism (QIS) Emergency Nursing programmes.
