International Management MSc

Course Essentials

The International Management MSc offers a demanding and stimulating course, with emphasis placed on providing global capabilities required for business success. You will study International Business Strategy, Accounting and Finance, Comparative Management and Governance, Crafting Entrepreneurial Opportunities, Sustainable Business, Leadership in Context and Research Skills and Business Analytics as well as a range of optional modules. In the second semester you have the opportunity to choose electives from a range of modules and either a Business Research Project (individual or group), a Business Consulting Project (group – competitive entry by application) or a Business Experience Project (requires a self-sourced internship), to reflect your interests.


Base Campuses

  • Strand Campus: Located on the north bank of the River Thames, the Strand Campus houses King's College London's arts and sciences faculties.
  • Waterloo Campus: Waterloo campus is home of the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery and facilities for other faculties

Entry Requirements

UK Applicants

  • Standard requirements: A minimum high 2:1 undergraduate Bachelor’s (honours) degree with a final mark of at least 65% or above
  • Programme-Specific Requirements: Undergraduate degree high 2:1 honours (i.e. overall average of at least 65% across all years of study) required in any academic subject.

International Applicants

  • Equivalent International qualifications: Select a country to view equivalent qualifications
  • English language requirements: English language band B

Teaching and Structure

Teaching Methods

We use lectures, seminars and group tutorials to deliver most of the modules on the course. You will also be expected to undertake a significant amount of independent study.


Assessment

Your performance will be assessed through a combination of different assessment types. While there are some written examinations, the programme emphasises practical coursework of an individual and group nature.

Courses are divided into modules. You will normally take modules totalling 180 credits.

  • International: Full time: £37,800 per year (2025/26)

Deposit

If you receive an offer for this programme, you will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit to secure your place. Deposit payments are credited towards the total tuition fee payment.


  • Home deposit: £500
  • International deposit: £2000
