The Motorsport Engineering MEng/BEng (Hons) course aims to produce motorsport engineering graduates with the versatility and depth of understanding to deal with new and unusual challenges, alongside the necessary imagination and creativity to innovate.

How You'll Learn

• Teaching contact hours: 15-18 hours per week in the first year
• Guided and independent study: 200 hours per 20 credit module
• Online learning: some teaching hours and assessments may be delivered online
• Assessment: essays, group work, presentations, reports, projects, coursework, exams, individual assignments

Entry Requirements

• UK: 120 UCAS points (BEng), 128 UCAS points (MEng)
• International: IELTS 6.0 overall, with no component lower than 5.5
• A Level: BBB including Mathematics and one from Physics, Chemistry, Design Technology, Biology, Further Mathematics, Electronics or Engineering (BEng), ABB including Mathematics and one from Physics, Chemistry, Design Technology, Biology, Further Mathematics, Electronics or Engineering (MEng)
• BTEC: DDM in Engineering or Aerospace Engineering or similar (BEng), D*DD in Engineering or Aerospace Engineering or similar (MEng)

Fees and Funding

• UK: £9,535 per year (2025/26), £19,850 per year (2025/26) for international students
• EU: £9,535 per year (2025/26) with EU Support Bursary, £19,850 per year (2025/26) without EU Support Bursary
• International: £19,850 per year (2025/26)
• Professional placement: £1,500 (UK), £1,800 (international)
