Course Overview

The Advertising and Digital Marketing BA (Hons) degree is an integrated course combining advertising and digital marketing theory and practice. The course has a particular focus on online communication and customer engagement across a variety of digital platforms and organisational settings.


What You'll Study

  • Year one: Foundations of Management, Organisation Behaviour, Marketing, Digital and Social Media, Business Decision-Making Using Data Analysis, Entrepreneurial Ideation, and Entrepreneurial Thinking.
  • Year two: Designing a Research Proposal, Marketing Insight, Consumer Behaviour, Integrated Marketing Communications, Advertising and Digital Marketing, and Creative marketing.
  • Placement year: UK Work Placement or International Study/Work Placement.
  • Final year: Project, Advertising and Digital Marketing Strategy, Digital Customer Experience, and optional modules (Sustainable Marketing, Big Data, Global Marketing, Social Media and Influencer Marketing, and PR and Event Management).

Entry Requirements

  • UK: 120 UCAS points, BBB at A level, DDM at BTEC, 24 points at IB Diploma.
  • International: IELTS 6.0 overall, with no component lower than 5.5.
  • Other qualifications and experience: Considered on a case-by-case basis.

  • UK: £9,535 per year (2025/26).
  • EU: £9,535 per year with EU Support Bursary (2025/26).
  • International: £16,800 per year (2025/26).
  • Tuition fees are subject to change and may increase by up to 5% above inflation.
