How you'll learn
The course is designed to support your development of essential skills needed to get you employment-ready and into the industry quicker.
Our teaching methods are varied to suit the needs of all our students. In addition to lectures, we also utilise a blended learning approach, including online aspects, workshops and group work.
Progression through the modules aims to develop knowledge and skills including communication (written and oral), study skills, research methods, project management, presentation and career development.
Teaching contact hours
You can expect up to 20 hours of learning activities per week, made up of face-to-face teaching, individual and group tutorials, online classes and independent learning. Additionally, you will be expected to undertake up to 30 hours of self-directed study, depending on the demands of individual modules.
Classes usually run Monday to Friday at a fixed time each day, either in the morning (9am-1pm) or afternoon (2pm-6pm).
Assessment
This course will be assessed using a variety of methods which will vary depending upon the module.

Entry requirements
Typical offer for 2024/25 entry.
- UK: 104 UCAS tariff points. Candidates will normally be expected to have GCSE maths and English at grade 4 / C or Functional Skills Level 2, or other equivalent Level 2 awards. Level 2 equivalents are accepted. Two A2 levels to include one from either Maths, Computer Science or other relevant subject. BTEC National Extended Diploma in a relevant subject (e.g. Computing), or an appropriate Foundation/Access qualification where the standard achieved is deemed equivalent to the above.
- International: Equivalent qualifications to the above and will be reviewed by our admissions team.

- UK, Ireland, Channel Islands or Isle of Man: £7,950 per year
- EU: £7,950 per year with EU Support Bursary, £18,300 per year without EU Support Bursary
