What You'll Study

You will cover topics including strategic leadership, patient safety, financial management, and human resources. The course includes the following modules:

Leadership, Strategy and Change – 30 credits

Develop the skills to lead strategic change in complex organisations. You'll delve into theories, models, and real-world case studies to understand the drivers and challenges of organisational transformation.

Strategic Financial Management and Analysis – 30 credits

Develop the financial tools and knowledge to drive strategic decision-making. Module content covers financial statements, business performance, and advanced techniques like the balanced scorecard.

Managing Healthcare Organisations – 30 credits

This module covers global healthcare management, focusing on financial strategies, human resource management, change leadership, and technological innovation.

Health Challenges and Patient Safety – 30 credits

Entry Requirements

Typical entry requirements:

• UK: An honours degree 2:2 or above (or international equivalent) in any discipline. Evidence of relevant professional qualifications equivalent to Level 6 or at least two years relevant work experience will be considered.
• International: An honours degree 2:2 or above (or international equivalent) in any discipline. Evidence of relevant professional qualifications equivalent to Level 6 or at least two years relevant work experience will be considered.

English Language Requirements

• IELTS: 6.5 overall, with no component lower than 5.5.
