Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis
Overview
Wichita State’s graduate certificate in applied behavior analysis equips education and community professionals with an increased understanding of human behavior—helping them better serve individuals with specific behavioral needs. The program can be completed while pursuing your graduate degree or as a stand-alone certificate.
Curriculum
This 21-credit-hour certificate program meets the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)-required 315 classroom hours of graduate-level instruction. BACB supervision hours, required for certification, are arranged and completed by the student separately from the coursework.
Admission to the Program
There are two paths to admission:
- For those already enrolled in graduate school, simply complete the Declaration of Intent to Pursue a Certificate Form.
- Prospective students should apply using the Graduate School application for admission.
- All enrollees are encouraged to confer with BACB regarding specific licensure requirements.
