Graduate Certificate in Control Systems

Overview

Wichita State's graduate certificate in control systems is designed for students who hold a Bachelor of Science (BS) in engineering. The program is also available to students with other degrees who have experience in control systems.


Curriculum

To complete the certificate, you'll take a required course in linear systems. You'll then choose courses from topics like:


  • Probabilistic methods in systems
  • Digital control systems
  • Stochastic controls
  • Robust control systems
  • Optimal control
  • Neural networks for system modeling and control

Depending on your academic background, some of the certificate courses may require additional prerequisites.


Admission to the Program

There are two paths to admission to the program:


  • For those already enrolled in graduate school, simply complete the Declaration of Intent to Pursue a Certificate Form.
  • Prospective students should apply using the Graduate School application for admission.
