Graduate Certificate in Criminal Intelligence

The graduate certificate in criminal intelligence prepares students to prepare or enhance their careers in criminal intelligence by providing them with the knowledge and skills to work in law enforcement agencies. Students interested in using technology and data to collect, analyze and interpret evidence will benefit from the program's application- and skills-based courses.

Curriculum

The criminal intelligence certificate curriculum explores the role of technology in criminal justice, including open-source intelligence, analytics and crime gun intelligence.

• Students who earn the certificate and then wish to pursue the Master of Arts (MA) in criminal justice, may transfer all credit hours to the program.

Admission to the Program

There are two paths to admission to the program:

• For those already enrolled in graduate school, simply complete the Declaration of Intent to Pursue a Certificate Form.
• Prospective students should apply using the Graduate School application for admission.
