Program Overview

The Certificate in Human Resource Management is a Level 6 program that provides learners with the core knowledge, skills, and competencies required to work effectively in Human Resources (HR) roles across a variety of sectors.

Entry Requirements

• Mature applicants (i.e., over 23 years)
• Leaving Certificate Grade O6 at ordinary level in five subjects in the Leaving Certificate. Two of these subjects must be Mathematics and a language (English or Irish)
• QQI Level 5 – Full award with a minimum of eight modules

Schedule

• TWO Evenings per week TBD
• PLUS Selected Saturdays per semester

Fee

This program will be funded/part-funded by Springboard+ for the academic year 2025/2026. It will open for applications on Tuesday, 3rd June at [insert time].

Progression

Upon successful completion of this course, students are eligible to progress to the higher certificate in business (Year 2) (Level 6 – One Year)

Graduates from this program take up leadership and management positions across a multi-disciplinary range of industries. The competencies developed on the program enable the learner to excel in their role as a manager.
