Overview
Study our adult nursing degree for a rewarding career in the care profession. Adult nurses provide a constant source of support and care to patients. Our degree in adult nursing prepares you for the challenging role and responsibilities of a registered nurse.

- Pathophysiology: Illness and its impact upon individuals (15 credits)
- Recognising and Managing Individual Needs (30 credits)
- Developing Adult Nursing Practice (30 credits)
- Practice Learning 2 (AN)
- Medicines Management (15 credits)
- Understanding Research in Evidence Based Practice (30 credits)
Year 3
- Preparation for Professional Practice (30 credits)

Entry Requirements
UK Citizens and Permanent Residents
- 112 UCAS Tariff points
- GCSE Mathematics at grade 4/C and GCSE English Language at grade 4/C
- Suitable applicants will be required to attend an interview
- Applicants will also be required to:
- Provide an academic or professional reference
- Demonstrate an interest in, and understanding of, the programme they are applying to within the personal statement
- Complete a Suitability Declaration
- Pass an Occupational Health check
- Pass an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check

We offer either a hospital or community route through the Adult Nursing programme in order for you to tailor your placement experience to your future career aspirations.
How Long Is My Placement?
You will spend 50% of your time each year in these valuable work placements.
