Digital Engineering, MSc

Course Content

You will study four common modules:

• Research, Planning & Communications
• Strategy & Management
• Machine Learning and its application
• Digital Engineering
• A 60 credit individual research project

Entry Requirements

• UK citizens and permanent residents:
  • An undergraduate (honours) degree at 2:2, or above, in Engineering or Design (or related environment)
  • Applicants without a degree that have relevant professional experience or membership of an appropriate professional body may be considered
• International entry requirements:
  • The University of Greenwich accepts a broad range of international qualifications for admission to our courses

Fees and Funding

• Home: £11,325 (full-time), £1,887 per 30 credits (part-time)
• International: £17,975 (full-time), £2,996 per 30 credits (part-time)

• The course leader has the overall responsibility for your course and will be your first point of contact
• We also allocate you a personal tutor, who you meet soon after you join the department

Accommodation

• Our Medway halls of residence are all located on-campus, with facilities include an on-site café, launderette and bar
• Rooms start at £172.06/wk and include Wi-Fi, utility bills and 24-hour residential support

How You Will Learn

• You are taught through a combination of interactive lectures, discussions, and tutorials, with the use of appropriate and relevant case-studies
• Our taught modules are research-engaged and most have a practical component that relates to the theory you cover in the classroom
• Individual research projects help you learn to adapt and apply specific methodologies to unfamiliar problems

Assessment

• Students will be assessed through a variety of methods, such as:
  • Classroom presentations, discussions and case-studies
  • Critical reviews, looking at new areas of research
  • Examinations

Feedback Summary

• University policy is to give feedback on assignments within 15 working days of the coursework submission date
• Examination results will be available within 28 days
