Master of Commerce
Overview
The Master of Commerce is a postgraduate degree that provides students with the opportunity to develop further expertise in business and commerce. The course is designed to boost employment opportunities around the world through the UWA Business School's international accreditations and corporate supporters.
Course Structure
The Master of Commerce is a 1.5-2 year full-time or part-time course that comprises a number of units. The course structure includes:
- Core units in ethics, economics, financial accounting, global business, management, and marketing
- Specialisations in:

Admission Requirements
To be considered for admission to this course, an applicant must have:
- A Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA
- The equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 50 per cent
- At least two years professional experience in a relevant occupation
- Completed a Graduate Certificate in Finance, or Graduate Certificate in Human Resources and Employment Relations, or Graduate Certificate in Business Information and Logistics Management, or Graduate Certificate in Commerce, or Graduate Certificate in Marketing, or Graduate Certificate in Economics at UWA
English Competency
English is the language of instruction and assessment at UWA, and students must meet the English language requirements of the University to be eligible for a place. The minimum overall IELTS score required is 6.5, with no band less than 6.0.
Fees and Scholarships
The annual course fee for domestic students is $34,100.00, and for international students is $49,500.00. Scholarships are available to students from a diverse range of backgrounds, including academic achievement, financial need, educational disadvantage, leadership and community service, artistic or sporting achievements, and being from a rural or remote area.
