The Accounting major prepares students for a career across borders, offering a variety of career paths in the private and public sector, public accounting firms, small business, and self-employment.

The Accounting major offers a variety of career paths in the private and public sector, public accounting firms, small business, and self-employment. Professional accountants are employed as company directors, board members, chief executive officers, and partners in business.

Further Study

After completing the Accounting major, students can pursue further studies at honours level or undertake a master's degree such as the Master of Commerce or (after appropriate work experience) the Master of Business Administration.
