Career Opportunities

As a graduate of this course, you will be able to work in government and independent schools, both nationally and internationally. This course will enable you to teach two secondary school (years 7–12) subjects such as Music Studies, English and Literary Studies, History, Political Science and International Relations, Indonesian and Italian. Your degree could also open up opportunities within government agencies, not-for-profit organisations or community services.

You'll be in High Demand

A nationwide shortage of qualified teachers within WA and across Australia means you’ll be highly sought after. Demand for secondary teachers is also set to increase over the next 10 to 15 years.
