Program Overview
Foundations for Learning is a 12-week online program designed primarily for rural learners. The program includes a range of courses, each with approximately 45 hours of instructor-led activities presented in an online real-time or online anytime delivery format. In addition, 30 hours of in-person tutorial support are available to students for free in their community at the local CALP provider.

What to Expect from the Program
The program offers a reduced tuition rate of only $150 per course (plus fees and books) for Canadian and permanent resident students, with no application fee and flexible start dates. Students can select the course they are interested in and register using the provided form. If students are unsure where their local CALP is, their instructor can help.
Choosing Your Delivery Option
The program offers multiple delivery options:
- Online Real-Time: Classes follow a set schedule and require students to attend live, online sessions at specific dates and times.
- Online Anytime: Classes have no scheduled meetings, allowing students to complete coursework on their own schedule within set start and end dates, with deadlines for some assignments.
