What to Expect from the Course

This course is intended to be a practical and thoughtful way to raise awareness, spark meaningful thought, and support more inclusive workplaces. By the end of the course, you’ll feel more confident, informed, and equipped to take meaningful action against racism in your workplace and your community. You’ll deepen your empathy, broaden your perspective, and be ready to support change in real ways.


Course Objectives

  • Understanding and Addressing Racism Explore why anti-racism learning matters, how racism shows up in different forms, and the impact it has on racialized communities.
  • Promoting Inclusive Communication Build your skills in using inclusive language and having respectful, equitable conversations.
  • Actively Supporting Change Put your learning into action with strategies for allyship, practical tools from our Anti-Racism Toolkit, and ways to advocate for more inclusive spaces.

Course Structure

This course is a 1.5 – 2-hour self-paced program. There are five modules, each lasting about 15 minutes. The end of each module has a quiz with five questions. You must get at least four of the questions correct (80%) to move on to the next module.

It is designed both for individuals and teams seeking an introduction to anti-racism, as well as organizations that want to offer foundational training to staff and leadership.
