What to Expect from the Program

Our classes range from CLB 0 (including basic literacy) to CLB 8. They include full-time and part-time in-person, online, and blended delivery options. Our deliveries are flexible so you can study at your own pace and at a time you want.


We also offer American Sign Language, and courses to help you study online.


Our community service activities provide learning opportunities while contributing to the community. They will help prepare you for further education or career options.


Program Information

Our programs begin every two months based on availability.


LINC – Full-time Options

  • Blended
    • In person: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
    • Online real-time: Tuesday and Thursday
    • 8:00 am - 12:30 pm or 12:30 - 5:00 pm
    • 4.5 hours of out-of-class course work weekly
  • Online
    • Online real-time: Monday to Friday
    • 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
    • 9 hours of out-of-class course work weekly

LINC – Part-time Options

  • Evening
    • In person: Tuesday and Thursday
    • 6:00 - 9:00 pm
  • Online
    • Two ninety-minute webinars, and three hours online anytime learning

LINC American Sign Language

  • Offered through the Connect Society

Additional Information

Francophone-focused settlement services are available, and it is possible to settle in French in Canada.


Certain personal information is collected and shared with Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada when you apply to the LINC program.


LINC students who need support with child care while studying may be eligible for community-based care for newcomer children.


Tuition for LINC is funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. There are no fees or tuition for eligible students.
