What to Expect from the Program

The Arts and Sciences diploma specialization in New Media, Communications, and Technology allows students to focus their studies within a specific area of interest. This specialized pathway provides students with a diverse range of elective options that explore historical and emerging topics in the sciences, social sciences, and humanities.

Students who specialize in New Media, Communications, and Technology will have unique opportunities to participate in applied research, experiential learning, and collaborative projects.

Upon completion, you'll graduate with at least 60 transferable credits, recognized by post-secondary institutions across Alberta and Canada. Established agreements with the University of Alberta and MacEwan University provide a direct pathway for NorQuest students to apply to a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science program.

You’ll also experience smaller class sizes and supportive instructors who are committed to your success.

What You Will Learn

The New Media, Communications, and Technology specialization in the Arts and Sciences diploma allows you to customize your program of study. You will choose from a variety of electives in the sciences, social sciences, and humanities with a focus on courses that relate to the specialization.
