Computer Fundamentals - COMP 1900

Course Description

Build on your foundational computer knowledge and skills related to the digital office, Internet research, health and safety using digital devices, file management, keyboarding skills, and communication in an online world. Through project work, you will use different applications, including OneNote, OneDrive, Google Drive, Moodle, PathBrite, SAM, Word, PowerPoint, and Typing Trainer. At the end of this course, you will be able to more fully participate in the workplace, academics, and communities.

Admission Criteria

  • Prerequisites: 50% in ENGL 1904 and ENGL 1902. Restricted to Academic Upgrading.
  • Co-requisites (if higher level of English has not been achieved): 50% in HUMN 1911 and ENGL 1007. Restricted to Academic Upgrading.
