Introduction to Health Information Management in Canada - XHLT 3200
Course Description
This badge explores the structure of the Canadian health care system, levels of care and uses of health information and health systems. Learners will study federal and provincial legislation regarding health records and the ethical/legal considerations involved in the confidentiality of health information. An understanding of the role of a health information management professional vs. a role of a health informatics professional will be covered.
