Entry Requirements
- A Level: BBC in three A levels including C in Chemistry
- BTEC Extended Diploma / National Extended Diploma: DMM in any of the following BTEC Extended Diplomas / National Extended Diplomas: Applied Science, including completion of three out of four of the following units: Applications of Organic Chemistry, Applications of Inorganic Chemistry, Industrial Chemical Analysis, Practical Chemical Analysis
- International Baccalaureate Diploma: 554 in three Higher Levels including 4 in Chemistry, or 29 points including 4 in Higher Level Chemistry
- Access to HE Diploma: 112 UCAS points in an Access to HE Diploma with Chemistry related content, including Distinction in at least 15 Level 3 credits

- Tuition fees for 2025/26 academic year:
- UK: £9,535 for the 2025/6 academic year (subject to Parliamentary approval)
- International: Band 1, £17,700 for the 2025/26 academic year

Facilities
- Practical classes will take place in Keele's state-of-the-art Central Science Laboratories and our custom-built crime scene facilities.
- Our Central Science Laboratories house multiple analytical suites that include industry-standard equipment used in the analysis of forensic evidence.
- Equipment includes: Video Spectral Comparators, comparison microscope, AFIS, micro spectrophotometer, Raman spectrometer, NMR spectrometers, ICP-OES, GCs, GC-MS, UV Vis spectrometers, fluorimeters and FT-IR spectrometers.
- Keele's purpose-built crime scene house (equipped with CCTV, vehicles and blood pattern analysis room) enables you to gain hands-on experience in recovering evidence from a variety of realistic criminal settings.
- New commercial scenarios, including a pub and post office, will provide you with the opportunity to gain experience in other crime scenes as 50% occur in non-domestic environments.
