The Politics with Economics BA (Hons) program at Keele University explores the relationship between politics and economics, enabling students to understand how these disciplines shape social, economic, and political life.

Entry Requirements

• A Level: BBC
• BTEC: DMM
• T Level: Merit
• International Baccalaureate Diploma: 554 in three Higher Levels or 29 points
• Access to HE Diploma: 112 UCAS points including Distinction in at least 15 Level 3 credits

Fees and Funding

• UK: £9,535 for the 2025/6 academic year (subject to Parliamentary approval)
• International: Band 1, £17,700 for the 2025/26 academic year

Teaching, Learning, and Assessment

• Teaching methods include lectures, seminars, workshops, and computer laboratory-based classes
• Assessment methods include essays, critical reviews, group oral presentations, blogs, poster presentations, portfolios, reports, and case studies

Foundation Year

• The Foundation Year provides an alternative route to Keele, offering preparation for the chosen degree with guaranteed entry onto the undergraduate course
• The Foundation Year is a two-semester program that provides a tailored pre-degree program of study to better prepare students for the BA (Hons) Politics with Economics degree
