Program Description

The Advanced Certificate in Assistive and Rehabilitation Technology emphasizes a dynamic, problem-based approach to learning through classroom projects, community involvement, and exposure to current research literature. Our mission is to educate practitioners and researchers who share a common professional interest in improving the independence and quality of life for people with disabilities, who use assistive technology. We have created a progressive atmosphere for therapists, engineers, and educators who share a common interest in learning the science of assistive technology research and service delivery for people with disabilities.
