Program Description

The Language Education and Multilingualism PhD program provides a comprehensive background in theory, practice and research, for those who aspire to academic appointments in colleges/universities, or leadership roles in school systems. Graduates of this program are prepared for research, teaching and administrative posts in colleges and universities, and for positions of educational leadership in the schools, or in state education departments. This program consists of a minimum of 72 credit hours of study beyond the baccalaureate degree and culminates in a dissertation.
