Where can I go after taking University Transfer courses?

You can apply to any university after taking University Transfer courses. For example, you can apply to University of Calgary or Mount Royal University as a post-secondary transfer student.


You can transfer into St. Mary’s University’s Bachelor of Arts – General Studies three-year degree after taking your first year of courses here at Bow Valley College.


You can transfer to MacEwan University’s Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree programs after taking your first one or two years of courses here at Bow Valley College.


You can transfer to Red Deer Polytechnic’s Bachelor of Arts – Psychology degree program after taking one year of courses here at Bow Valley College. You can transfer to Bachelor of Arts – Multidisciplinary Studies after taking your first two years here. You can transfer to Red Deer Polytechnic’s Bachelor of Science – Biology after one year of courses here.

Admission requirements

To enter University Transfer, you must demonstrate a passing mark in English 30-1 or English 30-2. You also have the option of taking the Bow Valley College Admissions and Placement test to qualify.
