BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy

Overview

Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession which sees human movement as central to the health and wellbeing of individuals of all ages. Physiotherapists help to identify and maximise movement potential through promotion of a healthy lifestyle, preventive healthcare, and specialist assessment, treatment and rehabilitation.


Course Structure

The innovative new physiotherapy course is fit for the modern, entrepreneurial physiotherapist – encompassing the core areas of cardiorespiratory, musculoskeletal, neuroscience and physiotherapeutic skills as well as more specialist topics. Our course has excellent links with professionals working in a wide variety of clinical settings, including the NHS, private practice, independent and charitable providers.


Entry Requirements

UK Academic Requirements

  • 120 UCAS Points (or above)
  • BBB (A-Level)
  • DDM (BTEC)
  • Merit (T Level)
  • Access to HE Diploma 45 Level 3 credits at Merit grade or above.

Non-Academic Requirements

  • Successful interview
  • Satisfactory health check
  • Satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check
  • One satisfactory academic or employment reference

International Requirements

  • IELTS 7.0 overall is required where English is not the student's first language.

Fees and Funding

2025/26

  • UK Full-time Tuition Fee: £9,535 per year
  • International Full-time Tuition Fee: £18,380 per year and including placement fee

2026/27

  • UK Full-time Tuition Fee: £9,535* per year
  • International Full-time Tuition Fee: £18,380 per year and including placement fee

*Maximum tuition fees chargeable to Home-fee students are set by the UK Government normally in the autumn or early winter in the year prior to the year of entry (e.g. autumn 2025 for entry in 2026/27). The University of Suffolk reserves the right to increase tuition fees for 2026/27 if the UK Government increases the maximum annual fee.
