CertHE Associate Project Manager (Higher Apprenticeship)
Overview
The CertHE Associate Project Manager (Higher Apprenticeship) offers a route into project management careers and is suited to those without any previous experience of project management. This course delivers the Associate Project Manager apprenticeship standard, a Level 4 qualification that might be a first step on a career to become a Project Manager or Project Controller.
Course Structure
The course consists of four modules, all of which are mandatory:
- Leading a Project
- Finance, Budget and Procurement
- Project Scope, Data and Risk
- Planning and Scheduling a Project
- End Point Assessment (non-integrated)
Entry Requirements
- 112 UCAS Points (or above)
- CDD (A-Level)
- MMP (BTEC)
- Pass A*-C (T Level)
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above
- Employment for more than 30 hours per week in a suitable role and support of employer
International Requirements
- IELTS 6.0 overall (minimum 5.5 in all components) where English is not the student's first language
Transferring Credit
If you have previously studied at higher education level before, you may be able to transfer credits to a related course at the University of Suffolk and reduce the period of study time necessary to achieve your degree.

At the end of this course, you will have a good understanding of core project management principles and be equipped to apply them in your workplace and to projects that you are involved in setting up and running.

Apprenticeship Funding
Degree Apprenticeships are only offered to students undertaking the course as part of their employment. Apprenticeship training will therefore be funded directly by employers or by employers in partnership with Government. Apprentices will not be required to pay any tuition or course fees, and will not be eligible for any Student Finance England maintenance support.
