Overview
The FdSc in Forensic Sciences intends to provide a solid knowledge-base to foster and enhance enthusiasm for Forensic Science and to develop transferable scientific skills.

Entry Requirements
UK Academic Requirements
- 80 UCAS tariff points (or above)
- CDD (A-Level)
- MMP (BTEC)
- Pass A*-C (T Level)
- QCF/NQF level 3 attainment comprising two years full-time post 16 education
- Successful completion of a Science Foundation course or relevant Access to Higher Education course is also recognised as acceptable for entry on to the programme
International Requirements
- IELTS 6.0 overall (minimum 5.5 in all components) where English is not the students' first language
Transferring Credit
- If you have previously studied at higher education level before you may be able to transfer credits to a related course at the University of Suffolk and reduce the period of study time necessary to achieve your degree
Mature Applicants
- Students aged 21 or over at the start of their course are regarded as mature students
- The University of Suffolk offers a flexible admissions policy for mature students, which takes into account life and work experience

- UK Full-time Tuition Fee: £8,220 per year
- UK Part-time Tuition Fee: £1,370 per 20 credit module
- International Full-time Tuition Fee: £15,690 per year

- UK Full-time Tuition Fee: £8,220* per year
- UK Part-time Tuition Fee: £1,370** per 20 credit module
- International Full-time Tuition Fee: £15,690 per year
*Maximum tuition fees chargeable to Home-fee students are set by the UK Government normally in the autumn or early winter in the year prior to the year of entry (e.g. autumn 2025 for entry in 2026/27). The University of Suffolk reserves the right to increase tuition fees for 2026/27 if the UK Government increases the maximum annual fee.
