Suffolk Executive MBA (SEMBA)
Overview
The Suffolk Executive MBA here at the University of Suffolk offers business knowledge at a senior level of management and advances leadership skills. Undertaking this qualification demonstrates determination to succeed in your chosen career and achieve your potential. With its distinctive nature the course aims to develop analytical and strategic management skills using concepts derived from a wide range of academic disciplines. With its flexible and practical nature, the Suffolk Executive MBA is designed to fit in with existing career commitments, offering flexibility for managers and senior leaders across several different industries and sectors who are wanting to boost their career prospects whilst continuing to work.

Course Structure
- Full-time students generally complete the course over one calendar year, with attendance, typically, on evening basis 5pm-8:30pm, one day per week with one Saturday 10am – 4pm a month.
- Part-time students take between two and four years to complete the degree.

Entry Requirements
UK Academic Requirements
- Students will be required to have at least three years relevant work experience before starting on our SEMBA programme.
- Preferably students will hold a degree with a 2:2 minimum classification, but experience will also be considered.
Non-academic Requirements
- Students will be required to supply two references, preferably one academic and one from recent or current employment.
- Applicants will be asked to attend an interview (virtual).
International Requirements

Transferring Credit
- If you have previously studied at higher education level before you may be able to transfer credits to a related course at the University of Suffolk and reduce the period of study time necessary to achieve your degree.

- UK Full-time Tuition Fee: £14,531 per year
- UK Part-time Tuition Fee: £2,422 per 30 credit module
- International Full-time Tuition Fee: £17,730 per year
Further Information
- Postgraduate Loans are available for this course, we also offer University of Suffolk Alumni a 25% reduction on fees.
- Home fee-paying students may be eligible for a reduction in the fee of £1000, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.

- The Waterfront Building and the Atrium Building which houses the Innovation Labs (ILabs), will generally be the base during your postgraduate course.
- Learning is the central part of the University Online Learning Environment (OLE).
- The Libraries at the University of Suffolk and across the Learning Network provide you with access to IT facilities, study spaces, and the resources you need for your reading and research.
